Engine Displacement

The air+fuel mixture volume that an engine’s chambers can collectively hold at a given time. It is always measured in cubic centimeters (cc)

$$E=d_b\times s\times n_c$$

$E$ - Engine displacement $d_b$ - Bore of a cylinder $s$ - Stroke of the piston $n_c$ - No. of cylinders

A higher $E$ means that more volume is taken in by the cylinder. This leads to an increase in the net output power. However, the fuel consumption efficiency and mileage are negatively affected due to the same reason.
